The Toddler Assassin

That's going to be Lyndon's wrestler name. "Daddy, fight" is a war cry that I hear each and every day and Lyndon goes full bore when we wrestle around the house. He shows some toughness in the bumps and bruises he gets while tumbling about trying to clobber me Ric Flair-style. We've had to teach him to use a little more caution with mommy and Colin, of course.

Lyndon is sleeping good, though he would prefer to stay up later than he does. His bedtime is now 8 p.m. and he gets up around 6, sometimes later if he's really pooped. He has a habit in the early morning of crawling in bed with us.

He loves going outside and it's always a struggle to get him to come back in the house. He likes going in the garden, watering flowers (and me), playing in his sandbox, finding worms and buggies, blowing bubbles, playing baseball and just general exploring.

Foodwise, for breakfast, he's been eating whole grain waffles, breakfast bars, fruit of all kinds, turkey bacon, eggs and yogurt. He has backed off of pancakes. He still loves yogurt more than anything. For lunch and dinner, he likes lunchables, PB&J, sandwiches, cheeseburgers, chicken enchiladas, turkey dogs, spaghetti, garlic bread and eggrolls of all things. He doesn't care too much for pieces of meat, other than lunchmeat. Of course, he loves junk food like cookies, chips and dip and CAKE! He loves cake. When leaving a birthday party at his Aunt Brenda's house, we was saying his goodbyes to everyone and finished with "bye bye, cake."
