Colinisms

If Lyndon can have Lyndonisms, Colin can have Colinisms. Colin seems to be growing and time passing so much faster than it did with Lyndon. Colin began smiling very early, and he often sticks his tongue out when he gets tickled. He LOVES his brother and always laughs at him. Lyndon is very good, loving and gentle when it comes to Colin.

So far, Colin's nicknames are: Pea, P-Burger, Burger, Burgie, and Peadro.

Colin's laughing, coupled with his reflux, almost always results in hiccups, but it doesn't seem to bother him. When he laughs, he does it in little bursts that sound like "hee...hee...hee."

He has been really good about sleeping after a bumpy stretch during his 5th month when both boys were inexplicably waking up in the night. His eating has always been great and shortly before 6 months, we started giving him cereal baby food. He likes it all and has a great appetite.

He has had multiple ear infections, but it's hard to tell, because he rarely cries about anything for any length of time. He is a very content baby.

He sits up really well and plays with toys, only rarely toppling over. He likes all different toys and has also begun spending time in his Excersaucer. Like his brother, he really likes his baths and likes to bat at the water.

He started daycare in July and loves it. He is sometimes tired after a long day of playing, but he has taken to it like a pro.

He is talking more, starting to use "dada" kinds of sounds, so it may only be a matter of time.

He is recovering from his first bout with a stomach bug that had him puking and pooping regularly. In between each, of course, he smiled all the time. Nothing phases this kid.
